One of the goals of the LIFE BEWARE Project is to contribute to the training and capacity building of young professionals, sharing relevant information about good practices in the field of climate change adaptation and hydraulic risk prevention.
In this regard, the project has been working together with the University of Padua to activate the course “Communities resilient to hydro-geological risks” within the Master in Governance of Local Development Networks.
The course deals with the ever more relevant themes of climate change, from soil consumption to the effects on hydro-geologic risks but also, and foremost with the solutions that can be adopted to immediately strengthen the resilience of the territory.
This occurs via an innovative eco-systemic approach that integrates structural and sustainable responses with protection and prevention actions.
